"Alba, the manager, was helpful in trying to deal with Expedia to help me obtain a refund for cancellation of 1 nite - Ill have to see still what the result is! (I cancelled several weeks ahead of my stay but Expedia, nor the property responded.).
The entrance to the property was very modern & clean, but the room could have been cleaner. No clean coffee cups provided the second day. Would have liked small wash cloths too.
Great location for mall & the .park! Staff helpful!"

"Contemporary large hotel, close to the airport but very confusing to get to it. Definitely not a direct route off the hwy or from the mall which you can see from the hotel. We stayed one night, the room was spacious, bright and well equipped. The bed was comfortable but I wasn't a fan of the bathroom glass wall. Who needs to see people in the bathroom when your in bed & when you turn the lights on everyone is awake! The glass sink was also strange, water splashes everywhere, I'm sure it's a...

"The staff was extremely helpful and friendly- top rated. The breakfast was decent/ok by Spain standards, and the room was very clean. This is an extremely large hotel, and the signage is not great, which made navigating somewhat difficult- especially finding the fitness center and my room. Once found, said fitness center was disappointing. All but 1 treadmill was out of service, and the elliptical machines were very low-end. The weight area was serviceable.
Overall, it is a good place to stay...

"We loved the breakfast. We had all the espresso drinks we wanted. There were local breakfast options as well as US ones including bacon and eggs which I missed! The hotel was close to the metro we were able to catch the Metro train to Madrid. Also was walking distance to several restaurants and parks. Even walking distance to a McDonalds, as well as a Burger King. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I would have preferred more Air conditioning but I guess it became unseasonably hot earlier...

"We had a great stay at Riu. Front Desk Team were very helpful, helped us as much as they could. Bed was to our liking, we slept good. A lot of choices for breakfast.
Enjoyed the rooftop bar , the view is spectacular. The staff were very nice. Special thanks to Juan Carlos.
The hotel is very busy , you will have to carry your own luggage.
The Plaza Espana Metro station is next to the hotel. Lots of restaurants and stores around and Park is across the hotel."

"The room was spacious. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious. The breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and polite. "It's good size for one person, could be tight for two. It's very well located between Royal Palace and Prado Museum, all within 20min. of walk. Around hotel there were many resturants and a minimarket for fruits, yoguts ect.. You need to ask toothbrush+paste, tissue when you checkin. One block from the main street, it's quiet. Overall it is a good place for the money"
