"The staff here were super friendly and the cabins were impeccably clean. Had a cozy night in one of the loft cabins.This area of Costa Rica has cooler weather, so you don't have to worry about being too hot. The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming and the food was great. This is an amazing deal for the price. Definitely would recommend!"

"I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. And don't forget about breakfast. Everyday, we had homemade to order...

"Belle propriété avec bungalows tout neufs et très mignons. On a même vu un paresseux dans un arbre. Juste à côté de frog's paradise donc parfait pour la visite de nuit, on peut y aller à pied. "My stay at Destino Hotel was an absolute dream. The views were absolutely stunning, and the entire design of the property was gorgeous. It truly felt like paradise. Orlando was the best host, so warm and accommodating, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing and a highlight of the experience. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back! "

"I can't imagine a better-equipped cabin! There's a full kitchen and dining area, a giant bathroom with great hot water, and two beds with their own TVs (it's like a having your own two-bedroom apartment!) The owner, Heylin, was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived. The internet was super fast. "An amazing place with a super staff. They can help plan different activities around the area, and are very helpful with any request. We had a great time staying there.
