"Cute little hotel with very nice staff. However, the noise level was insane and i barely slept the three nights i had booked for a work trip; door slams from the neighbors, the upstairs neighbors walking, and some loud mystery sound that repeated every ten seconds, and the ice machine... also, I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast; was pretty much just waffles/bread items and coffee with coffee mate pods. Unfortunately had to purchase breakfast and coffee elsewhere. "

"The hotel looks somewhat old, but overall it appears to be in “good” condition. Unfortunately, our experience was very concerning. There were apparently bedbugs or some type of insects in the first room, because my mother developed welts all over her body. The staff moved us to another room, but that room had ants and spiders. We had to be moved a third time before we finally got a room that was decent. I would also like to mention that today we had to take my mother to the hospital because...

"The place was decent. Definitely a bit run down and in need of some upgrades. But everything worked okay. Breakfast was underwhelming but did the job. The floors and walls were very thin and made it very difficult to relax. The location is good if you want to walk along the harbor. It was fun to be there during the whale Festival, although unexpected."

"The pictures on the we sure don’t match. But the amenities were as described and comfortable. Before arrival, the front desk clerk led us to believe the property was beach side. Dana Point is a town wide no smoking policy and when we got to our room the patron next door was smoking weed and cigarettes. Toilet paper is single ply. Furniture needs updating. "
