"Our stay at Shiomachi Roya in Tomonoura was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. I was impressed by the renovations done to turn this old merchant house into an inn. I liked the design and decor. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Because this particular house (Roya) has only 4 rooms to stay in, the staff are located at another sister inn literally just around the corner, one minute away. "駅まで迎えに来ていただき助かりました。 周りにレストランはありません。そういう場所なのでこれは問題ではありません。 部屋は玄関の隣で、カヌー関係なものが玄関に干してあり、臭いが気になりました。カヌーをする人なら良いのかも。 部屋に鍵なし、でした。 2階に泊まった客が遅くまで居間でゲームをしていてうるさかったです。"
