"We had such a nice time staying at the Malaga over the weekend. It’s not perfect, but it’s a gem for folks that aren’t too picky and like a little adventure. It is old-real keys for the doors, creaky staircases. The courtyard and the water fountain in the center are beautiful and the sound of the water flowing adds to the calming atmosphere. It is very convenient to everything downtown-bars, restaurants, nightclubs and I felt very safe walking at night. Parking is free on site. The energy is great there, almost magical. Brian at the front desk made himself very available and was eager to help. Ice machine wasn’t working-Brian brought us ice. Elevator not working, Brian offered to carry our bags up the stairs. We couldn’t figure out the remote, Brian to the rescue! So helpful! We were a little concerned about the water temp until we figured out that the handle was reversed and hot is cold and cold is hot. Water pressure good. Clean sheets and towels. The air conditioner works great! Couldn’t hear sounds from other rooms. I really hope we get another chance to stay there again!"

"From the moment you walk in, the hotel feels clean, welcoming, and smells great. The front desk staff was very friendly and made check-in easy. I also really liked the decorative lobby it gave the hotel a nice touch. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and a nice added bonus. Overall, we had a great stay, and if we’re back in the area, we would definitely stay here again."

"Most rooms smell wet other then that it’s a pretty cool and reasonably priced hotel I’ve stayed here like 4/5 times the worst problem is that you probably will have to keep going to the front desk to reactivate the keycard staff is sweet but as for when you get DoorDash or uber make sure to pay extra attention most drivers will leave your bags in the front and won’t call"

"Top floor was closed for maintenance which we didn’t know til we got there, it was the reason we booked that hotel so we were disappointed with that. The staff was great and helpful, room was mostly clean except bathroom could have been done better with getting other peoples hair up."
