Room was great. BUT We were placed on the first floor which has the balcony right along the littered road with quite limited view. No option for an alternate room. Pool lovely. Not overcrowded but deep. No real shallow end. “Parking” was free 15 minute walk downhill. We were on a wait list for paid parking close to hotel for the full week. Never got any.

The hotell was very nice with big rooms and beautiful views. They took 100€ in deposit on the day of the arrival, and it took almost two weeks to get it back. Wish they could speed up the process, but other than that the stay was very good

Pros: Very nice property. Our unit was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to cook. The pool was heated and had many available beds. Cons: Very limited parking around the property. We heard it was very common for guests to get parking tickets. The following services weren't included: gym 5€ per day, laundry washer 5€, laundry drier 4€.

A beautiful, quiet location where we were able to relax and unwind. The apartment (one bedroom) was lovely, spacious and clean with a well-stocked kitchen and the outside terrace was fabulous and a really nice place to sit and look at the sea. Staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful with any requests. Use of the gym was extra as was the transport to Mogán and Puerto Rico. The village/town was about a 20minute walks with a steep hill. The only thing I'd recommended would be a shuttle bus to there and back. All in all a lovely stay and we are considering returning next year.

Apartment: VERY comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. We really had everything we needed. Nice terrace with lateral seaview. Good cleaning service. Good pool. Very friendly staff (especially Mr. MATIAS). Nice to have an affordable parkingspace nearby. - Music from the disco in the valley between 20 and 22h, so Club Cala Blanca is not really a perfectly quiet place, but all the other positive thi gs compensate for that . - You really need a car to go to other places and to find a grocery shop.

Great value and spacious rooms

We were surprised over the standard. The apartment was spacious, clean, modern/renovated and well equipped. It was much better than the impression given by the pictures. The staff at the reception was lovely and we enjoyed the terrace, as well as the swimming pool. A huge plus that there were tennis, ping pong and billiards available free of charge. The restaurant and the mini market , which we were told was a different company, need some improvement. The staff was not very friendly and communicative. The price of the ice cream was shockingly high, way higher than in Norway(!) There was only one type of wine in the minimarket and it was disgusting. All in all, a wonderful hotel that we would recommend. The check out is early (10), but the staff was super helpful and we were offered to leave the luggage at the reception while going to the beach and when we returned we could borrow towels and shower rooms for free.

Ideal for families and quiet folks.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. You feel welcomed from the start, very friendly staff. It is a quiet place for families and retirees, not for party folks. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, it has everything you may need to make your own meals. Which is great when you are on a budget or don't feel like going to a restaurant. We went to one of the local supermarkets and bought everything we needed to make our own meals several times. So, the only few less positive things to say are the limited pool hours, 10:00 to 1800, and limited parking in the area. At times you need to leave your car at the bottom of the hill and walk about 13 mins one way. A parking ticket could cost you 100 euros if you leave your car on a not designated parking spot. Do I recommend it? definitely. Would I come back? Yes. The southern part of the island, in my opinion, offers great beaches, and it is relatively close to many other great sites to visit nearby (bottom half of the island) if you have a rental.

Positive: Our apt was really nice. Spacious, practical and fully equipped with flat screens as well as a/c in both the living room and the bedroom, The bathroom is nice with a big shower area. The real hit is the kitchen which is extremely well equipped with all sorts of machines and kitchenware. There was even a dishwasher there. Although Club Cala Blanca is not a new establishment it is very well maintained and spotless in its cleanliness. Almost all staff we encountered there were nice and attentive. The terrace is very big and offers a good view of the Atlantic Ocean. The beach in Taurito is beautiful. Negative: Our apt was on the bottom floor and without a proper noise protection the noise from our neighbour above when moving their chairs etc was incredible. The gym showed up to be closed for refurbishment without any information prior, a big disappointment. Parking is a hassle. The hotel is situated up a long steep hill and the are almost no public P-spaces. Limited amount of hired spaces are available for 8 EUR/day. Club Cala Blanca is apparently part of the Hilton Recreational resorts and as such it should offer a real restaurant and not only pub menu-dining. Another reason for choosing Club Cala Blancas was its proximity to the more famous and picturesque Puerto de Mogan-village. It turned out, however, that the coast road is closed because of damage and that all transports (car or bus) have to go over Puerto Rico, a total journey of 30 km instead of 2 km!
