"Rooms in Indianapolis were too expensive, so we stayed in Cloverdale. We were apprehensive as heck, but the reviews for this place were really good, so we took a chance. All of those great reviews were TRUE! We never stay in places with exterior doors bc they’re usually gross and don’t feel safe. This is a hotel with exterior entry doors, but it’s really nice! The rooms were SUPER clean, like, SPOTLESS! Never heard of Cloverdale, but if you need an inexpensive room a 30min drive to downtown...

"Stacy was awesome. She's very advised on everything like how I should book my room and everything. They kept a very clean space outside and in. She replaced the batteries in our thermostat right away. Noah's questions asked. Excellent place to stay. I will stay here again without a doubt."

"This is an older hotel that has been nicely updated. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is no elevator-which was difficult for some guests. If you have difficulty with stairs be sure to ask for a first floor room."

I recommend staying here. This is a great option if visiting IU during high peak weekends. Easy drive about 40-45 minutes and the price is very reasonable unlike those closer to campus. "

"I had a very disappointing experience staying at this hotel. The overall condition of the property was unacceptable and far below expectations. The showers and sinks barely drained water, which made using the bathroom extremely frustrating. The rooms were not clean and had a dusty, unpleasant smell throughout. The air vents were packed with dust, making it obvious that proper maintenance and cleaning are not being done. The beds constantly squeaked with every movement, making it difficult to...

"The check-in process was a little stressful. We arrived a few minutes before the 5 PM check-in time and the owner was nowhere to be found. I called a couple of times with no response before we finally found her out and about doing chores. We were able to get her attention to be let into the property. The main living area is available for guest use but has a heavy odor of cats. The rented room and bathroom are clean and the odor is much more tolerable. Once in the room, we were provided the house...
