Hotel Highgate di Montara

"Everything was excellent! Clean, nice lobby with bar, seating, game room and snacks (pricy). Security with card chips to work front door and elevator is a plus. Our room was close to elevator so I could hear it but it did not keep me awake. Staff was helpful. The tub in our room had a little of the porcelain worn off the edges. That was the only thing I saw that looked run down. All else was fantastic!! We enjoyed the close walk to Fisherman's Wharf. We recommend this hotel. "

"Location was prime and the front desk staff were always very nice, friendly and accommodating. We got a voucher for comp breakfast one day from the front desk which was really nice of them. I like that check out is at 12pm. We got a nice room too. The elevators were a bit slow at times 2/3 working but it wasn’t a big deal as the hotel is only 8 floors and we were on 5th. I wish the bar had longer hours, it is open from 4pm to 10 pm. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
