"Wonderful staff! Very helpful with holding bags & helping us figure out how to use air conditioning in room. Gorgeous terrace included when staying in the suite (4 beds). Close to train station & lovely Monti district of Rome. Only con worth mentioning is this listing said hotel. This is a boutique hotel. Perfect for couples or solo travel with short stays. Gracie!"

"Great location, very helpful staff (Ana!), and great value for prime season in Rome. Also....air conditioning! The air con was absolutely indispensable during the recent summer heat wave. "We enjoyed our stay! Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was our favorite thing. The cons: our room was fairly small and you had to step up another level to get into the bathroom. Because of this, in the middle of the night, my husband fell and cut his arm badly. The staff was very nice though, and tried to take care of the cut. It was hard to find the doors Into the hotel and the doors out of the hotel if that makes sense."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Xenia guest house. The rooms were perfectly clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The location was ideal for walking to all of the sites, but it was also very easy to hop on a bus, train, or taxi right outside the property. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Rome!"

"We loved our experience. The owners are a couple who live across the hall so they are very accessible if you have any questions. The apartment is spotless and cleaned daily. The air conditioning works very well! Of note, we stayed in the suite and there was a washer which I don’t remember seeing in the description - a pleasant surprise. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking, as well aa olive oil, salt and pepper. I am not sure if this is always the case but we were happy to have them....

"We didn't stay at the hotel we registered, we stayed in nearby apartment, where we have to walk few blocks with lots of suitcase and claiming up and down was painful additionally I have to pay 100 Euros for city fee, clean up fees and two of my kids , it's absurd ,I never recommend this hotel again,"

"I had a very bad experience from start to finish in this property.. I don't recommend it to anyone.. The property is located on the 3rd floor and the lift was Not working.. No hot water in the bathroom ( I didn't have shower for all the period I stayed there, ( I reported the problem to the cleaner who tried to fix it by herself but she couldn't ).. The toilet seat was cracked so every time I used the toilet, the toilet seat pinched my bottom and that was very painful.. No reception desk so...
