"Great surprise! Opened the door and found completely updated, clean room Best stay of our 3000+ mile road trip minus the Beach Club in the yacht club in San Diego A+++"

"Pro: breakfast was great. That’s the only thing we liked about this place. Cons: very loud, walls and ceiling are paper thin and amplify sound. We could hear the person above us turn over on their bed! Claims to be queen beds, but they are actually only full size. Not that comfortable. Overall we would not stay here again. "

"Staff was very helpful. Safe area, free parking. Older property, but well maintained. Spacious room with fridge. Price was great for the area. Fairly long walk to restaurants, Wharf and Cannery Row. 6-8 minute drive."

"They do allow pets, however there isn't really a good place for them to go potty. The cable didn't want to work, so we went most of the stay without TV, the heater kept turning itself off, even when it wasn't set to auto. And the bathroom flooded while trying to take a shower and it wasn't fixed during our 3 night stay and we weren't offered compensation or a new room as it was the only handicap accessible room available. The walls were filthy and there was damage to fixtures and the microwave...

"This is an older motel that has undergone a thoughtful and appealing renovation. It is a budget-friendly option in a good location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Hopefully the owners will be able to also upgrade the plumbing and fixtures in the near future."

"We stay here at least twice a year. Staff is helpful, friendly. Rooms are clean. Appreciate the refillable water bottles."

"No real Gym. That was disappointing since I really booked it because of the gym. "

"Very misleading experience. Google photos of the place show a breakfast and hot tub. They have neither! They also charge for parking, which was hidden or in fine print. Right under an airport flight path too. Cute outside with flowers and decor. Stained towels and scratched up floors on the inside. I made multiple attempts to talk to customer service and was assured by the front desk staff that a manager would contact me, but of course neither happened."

"The room was nicely up-to-date, but there was only one table lamp between the beds, not enough light for reading. The bathroom was great, up-to-date, with nightlight provided by the hair dryer on the wall. But my soap dispenser in the shower was empty and the towels were skimpy. The light in the entrance was out. My biggest concern was the lack of security. Anyone could be in the halls and the door to the parking lot was never locked."

"I went there at spring break with kids ,Kids really enjoyed a pool & jacuzzi. Hotel clean, interior design, beautiful atmosphere very cozy. They also have a little shop in case if you need anything."

"It’s affordable and clean. There’s a Denny’s in front and a quick drive to Cannery Row, Old Fisherman’s Wharf and Carmel-by-the-Sea. My only complaint is that some of the electrical outlets in my room weren’t working. Aside from that inconvenience, it was worth the price. "
