"The room was clean, organized and had plenty of towels and all the usual amenities. We enjoyed the coffee. The water pressure was very low, weak flow. The windows lacked black-out curtains. Balcony lights poured through the wooden louvered blinds. Refrigerator was too cold. It froze our water."

"El hotel es sencillo ideal para estancias cortas, todo estuvo muy limpio y ordenado, está excelente que tiene estacionamiento incluido, lo único que comentaría es que nos tocó en recámara en planta baja y sonaba cuando se movían los huéspedes de arriba pero te dan tapones para los oídos y eso fue suficiente para poder dormir bien. Me volvería a hospedar ahí."

"This hotel is in a fantastic location. It’s easy to get into downtown Monterey, the cannery, the aquarium and easy on and off the freeway. I would recommend a room on the third floor to avoid noise from people walking overhead. We enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"I called ahead about arriving early and was told between 1-1:30 would work. We arrived at 1 and the lobby was empty. No one showed for about 30 minutes. Room was not ready so we waited another 45 minutes before it was ready. Other than that the room was large, clean, and updated. Their cancellation policy is non existent so make sure before you book"

"We've stayed here before years ago when there was a jacuzzi and breakfast. Those days are gone and now they charge $10 for parking. And of course, the prices went up. But all in all, we had a pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable but we could hear low flying jets till 11pm and they started up again at 5am. Have breakfast at Grandma's down the street!"

"I was greeted upon parking by the helpful and polite hosts. I was not very talkative, but I had the distinct impression that they would have been friendly had I been. I would stay here again, and probably will. The neighborhood leaves something to be desired, but if you are looking for a cute, clean room with parking, this is a solid choice."

"Room was clean. Ceiling fan was on a motion switch so it kept turning off at night. There was black mold in the shower above the shower ledge to the left. Bed was uncomfortable but that may just be us. Make sure you ask about the incidentals too as they charged us the $100 due to towels being stained. Did not use towels for anything else but showering. Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience."

"The property was nicer than expected and nicer than the photos. We were surprised there was no real way to bring the temperature down with A/C and with the afternoon sun it actually got pretty hot in the room."
