"We've stayed here multiple times. This hotel is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood blocks from quality coffee shops and restaurants and just a few blocks up from Asilomar State Beach. No frills, but clean, quiet, laminate floors and dog friendly. There is also a gas fireplace in the room which we enjoy. We've stayed in most of the hotels in this little neighborhood and Deer Haven is one of our preferred."

"I did not get the name of the awesome Receptionist who was working on 04/27/24 around 4PM. Thank you so much young lady. You were so nice when i checked in. Thank you for giving me a heads up of the Marathon that was going on. I need to avoid that as much as possible with people running. Thank you for also providing me a map and showing me where the Wharf and the beaches are. My family and I went to the Wharf and the beach down there. It was beautiful and amazing. "

"The room was clean, the bed super comfortable. Only issue we had was that planes flew overhead about 4 times during our stay, 2 in the early hours. Very loud."

"The Place is really beautiful! we are definitely coming back again, the only down experience was the staff who assisted us was a little mean. I had to work so we aren't able to arrived till almost 10 pm. We received to calls from this person and we let him know that we apologize for any inconvenience of our late check in. but this person is obviously upset and did not give us any smile or welcoming mood when we arrived. it was my husband and I Wedding anniversary and we just escaped for a night....

"I enjoyed staying here the rooms are like new, the Ac snd heater work really well, my room was cleaned everyday, I didn’t have to ask. They don’t offer a hot breakfast like other days inn, but there’s so many places that are walking distance. I loved my morning view. It is definitely a place to stay at an affordable price. "

"Still a good value for the area, does have its drawbacks. Limited parking and somewhat dated, but not run down. They do take good care of the property and the extra for a fireplace room is worth it to me. Accomidating staff, good location."
