"We liked everything about The Boulevard Inn. The location was excellent. We enjoyed being able to walk to Cary Town as well as several outstanding museums in the area. The Inn is located in the neighborhood of many beautiful older homes which we found to be very interesting as we explored this part of historic Richmond. "This is an absolutely gorgeous, wonderful historic inn in Richmond. We booked this hotel at the last minute without knowing anything about it, and we were blown away by how charming and beautiful it is. The interior courtyard was like a secret garden in the city. There's even a friendly hotel cat. We'll be back, and I've already recommended it to several friends."

"Arrived and no one was in the lobby or at the desk. We waited a while then finally found someone. A man with huge fake breasts came out, didn't acknowledge us other than asking for ID and credit card. Made no eye contact. Handed us the room key and that was it. Worst customer service we've experienced at a hotel. Also parking on Expedia is listed at $12, but hotel had a handwritten sign saying parking was $15. Definitely staying somewhere else next time we're in area."

"This was my first time at the Moxy. It's for those who cringe at the bland cookie-cutter hotels. This hotel encourages interaction among guests and has games and communal seating spaces galore."

"The basics are fine. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast options, especially coffee, are overpriced (we walked to nearby cafes). We did not look at the gym or pool so we can't comment on that. The rooftop bar is nice and gives you wonderful views of the somewhat dull skyline and surface parking lots of the city."

"It served the function of being a hotel in a convenient location. The entrance is a bit hard to find since it's down the hallway and there's not much signage. Elevators are kinda weird but that's just personal preference"
