"We arrived at Thainstone Hotel on Saturday late afternoon . We asked to book our meal for supper as we were going to a show just across from hotel , as the show starts at 7.30 , we needed to book a meal a bit earlier , the receptionist said we can’t serve meals till 7.30 as there is a wedding in process. "Absolutely beautiful stay! The grounds were so lovely, we saw baby swans on our drive in. Did not stay long enough to try the golf course but the grounds were beyond maintained. We were lucky to get a huge gorgeous room. The room itself was lovely and the bathroom was spectacular. Did not stay long enough to try the restaurants / bar but if I’m local again I will be there again."

"I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there.
