"Super nice staff. The hotel is old and in need of renovation to keep up with what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express (or their competition.) But that’s ok for a night or two. Really no complaints. It gets the job done and doesn’t smell bad. The rooms are just beat up, it’s old and dark as compared to other $150/night places."

"The Hotel property was in total disarray and under construction . Furniture and building removed components scattered all over the parking lot. No indication of rental office or check in office. Did not stay in the place had to leave and travel ton Greensboro for over night accommodations."

Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. "We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. We were desperate so we stayed but if we had of had another place close we would have definitely left. I'm sure it wouldn't meet sanitation codes if checked. We...
