"Nice clean place. Very friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Our family of four fit in reasonably well, although the room did seem bigger in the pictures. Nijo castle is very close, but for everything else we took an Uber. Location is not very central, but close enough to, say, Kamo river. All in all, a very pleasant experience."

"Absolutely stunning accommodation! You check-in at the cafe and they are more than accommodating with luggage before hand and we even had some delivered midway through. The elevator opens directly into you secure space, which is super charming. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable and we had an incredible jacuzzi tub. Far exceeded our expectations and wish we could have stayed longer. Great location too! Walkable to market and only 1-2 stops from main station. We walked everywhere."

"They had a laundry machinen though it only accepts 100 yen coins. The room was clean and they have luggage storage when you come earlier"

"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "
