"The hotel itself is not exactly right near much….but you walk 10 minutes and suddenly you are near everything: Kyoto Station, shopping, restaurants, bars. We liked that….the serenity of the hotel and the immediate area, but quick to everything you could want. The hotel itself is small, but very modern and well maintained. The room was perfect for us 5. Plenty of room, a mini kitchen setup, very comfortable. Also, because Kyoto bus transportation is so solid, and there is a bus stop 1 minute...

"This hotel has a great location. This was our second stay and was a good as the first. The room has so much space. It comes with a microwave, fridge and a sink. The staff is very helpful and kind. We have no complaints and would highly advise families to stay here. They also have free rental items such as chargers, scales and other misc items someone may need during their travels. The happy hour of free beer, sake and coffee was awesome. We cant wait to come back again. "

"This was the best hotel during our Japan trip. It was spacious, clean and had a tatami area. The full kitchen and balcony made our stay even more superb. It was also in a quiet area with walkable small local shops and cafes. Also a grocery store close by. It also did have a washer/dryer combo (note:was very hard to use and didn’t dry very well). Other than that, it was perfect!"
