The hotel location was excellent - close to the station and pretty central to the the key shrines, market and great food. Like all hotel rooms in Japan the rooms were small, but the amenities were nice and the rooms were clean and set up in a way to provide efficient use of space. We are a family of four - 2 teenagers in tow, so rooms with four beds were hard to find. Above all the staff were friendly and helpful. I received great recommendations for a vintage kimono shop and tea ceremony, both under a 10 minute walk away. Staff asked for my feedback upon my return. Kudos to Ola, who helped me figure out how to use the Japanese post office - she even came with me to translate to ensure I was able to send my package. It was a great experience and I would stay with this hotel and this brand again.
