"The hotel was nice but the long delayed elevator made my hotel experience a nightmare. I was there for a week and on average had to wait 10-15 min for an elevator to come. I could hear loud children screaming and running around at 1am therefore the room walls are very thin. The best part of the hotel is the spa and the lobby is beautiful. Overall I have the hotel 3 stars since my ceiling had weird red paint stains splotched on the ceiling, my tub had long hairs in it and looks like it was never scrubbed and the thin walls were bothersome as I could hear everything from my room. The only redeeming quality was the very nice staff everyone was super friendly."

"Hotel feels tired. Staff feels under-prepared and overwhelmed. Small but meaningful details—like keeping in-shower shampoo/amenities dispensers full (or ant least not empty) and having CAFFEINATED coffee pods rather than just decaf—should not have been issues … but they were. Most rooms are adjacent to or facing elevator bank so good luck getting a truly quiet room."

"The room was small but clean and quiet. Not enough towels but they brought more immediately which we appreciated. But that wasn’t the only issue. The bed kept sliding sideways off the base and we could not get it to stay centered and then the AC didn’t adjust to on for us and the room got stuffy."

"The room is very small. There is no walking space between the bed and the wall in front of it, it's surrounded by wall on three sides. This I could overlook being that New York is very expensive. However, I have stayed at other hotels in similar price range with bigger rooms, better amenities, and better cleanliness. The check-in and check-out is completely done on a computer, there isn't always someone available at the front desk. Everything in the room is operated by ipad: blinds, shades, lights, temperature, etc. Nothing is manual. That also means that if anything is broken or won't work, the ipad is the only way to use something. The blinds and shades were broken in my room, and I arrived late at night so did not transfer hotels. Otherwise I would have. They had no other rooms available, and they did not fix the shades. There were no slippers offered, or robes. It wasn't unclean, but it didn't feel crisp and clean the way hotels should feel. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"It’s a “cool” hotel in a great area and the sole staff member at the front desk was always nice and helpful, but we did not know that 1) it was a walk up (so coffee in lobby not that convenient for folks with aging knees), there is NOT a bar/restaurant in the hotel as it says on Hotels.com, and our room was so tiny there was no where to put suitcases or clothes or toilet kits."
