"This was an amazing lodge to stay while we travelled around Tongariro National Park. The owners are very friendly and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this hidden gem. If I ever come back I will most certainly stay here again. Also, their breakfast was outstanding. "

"The Grove Turangi accommodation was lovely, easy to reach and very clean. There was parking right in front of the place. Check-in was super easy and straightforward with clear instructions. "It was pouring with rain when we arrived, so we really appreciated having the carport and entry cover, so we didn’t get soaked hauling our luggage in. Great for a 1nt stay on our way from Wellington to the Coromandel. Because of the weather the Coromandel didn’t happen, but that’s a whole other story! "

"Absolutely loved this hotel!!!! It is spacious with a separate cooking area with stove microwave and refrigerator. The best part is the bathroom with a separate mineral tub to soak in. The water comes out piping hot so you need to add cold water to it. My favorite stay in all of New Zealand by far. There is a view from the lakeside units."

"We had a fabulous three nights at Clearwater. We loved being right beside the lake and had a beautiful panoramic view from our unit. The setting was very restful - just what we needed. The Clearwater staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and in-room spa were great. (Fantastic pressure in the shower!) The motor lodge is only a quick drive (or a nice walk) into town for coffee, shopping, activities and takeaway meals, and we also went down to Rainbow Point...
