Room was a mess. Shades on the lamps were all damaged. They make you pay a 100 dollars for incidental damage. Took pictures and tokd the front desk it was not damaged by us. Went back to the room to find roaches in the room. Immediately checked out.

I saw a roach in the bathroom and a few ants. There were no pots or pan. Not enough towels in the room. This hotel houses people who have vouchers and they live there! I was not happy and will book with this chain again

If you’re traveling with family or for business please don’t stay here. Rooms are smelly and not well maintained. Save yourself the agony and book somewhere else in the area that cost a bit more.

The room was lacking linen and the front desk person did not want to bring me linen. I hadn't stayed there for a while but the place is still the same. Time for an upgrade.

The room is nasty and smells like food… upon check in it took an hour cuz the receptionist couldn’t help any of the standing guests, in addition after he gave us the room key we went up and it didn’t work and we went back and up for 4 times till he gave us another room.

This hotel used to be a much nicer place. It was a Springhill suites I believe at one point. The current owners have not utilized the great space that they have for the guests. The hallways and lobby area look very shabby and dated now. The room, which is the most important thing, was very clean and supplied with everything you need to live out of for a short term. The room has a fully function kitchenette area with a full-size refrigerator. The room did not smell of cigarette, which was a pleasant surprise. The people who worked the counter both at check-in and checkout, could use some training as to how to deal with the public because interaction was absolutely minimal. If you want your hotel to succeed in this economy, you have to go out of your way to make the guest feel special and remember to want to come back Unless the owners are struggling, financially, there is no reason why the hallways and the pantry areas look dirty and deserted. This is another example of people who own hotels that don’t have a clue how to really run one properly

Very convenient location very close to a lot of restaurants close to the Cherry Hill mall and other activities. Hotel staff was very helpful when asked questions or needed extra bedding what in the world would happen

I honestly didn’t make it past the lobby. Loose dogs, questionable guests and a frustrated front desk receptionist. Honestly even she looked out of place. Elevators weren’t working either and come to find out had been out of service for 2-3 DAYS with multiple floors. It seems like it was dogs everywhere, someone on the side of the building with mad bags like.. it just gave shelter. The smell, the looks, the vibe, for it to be a Sonesta? Ive been to multiple Sonesta’s and none of them looked like this! I’m not even the type to leave reviews but I canceled my room and left and booked elsewhere. My anxiety was through the roof after such a brief encounter, that place had bad energy.

Do not travel there alone, especially women. Thank goodness I was there with my adult sons. I wouldn't have felt safe walking to and from the car nor on the elevator or in hallways. The staff allowed loitering in the parking lot as well as in front of the hotel door. These persons appeared to be on some kind of substance and appeared to be homeless and/or between housing.
