"This hotel is quite good! The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious—my granddaughters loved the pancake machine. It was great that there was a pool table so I taught my granddaughters to play pool. The room itself had plenty of space and the ventilation was very quiet. My only issue was the refrigerator motor which was very noisy."

"The hotel was newly updated, large rooms for NYC, and they even had a balcony! The location was good being near 5th Avenue in Park Slope where there are plenty of shops and restaurants, cafes. Stan was a great help there - helping us with suitcases and bringing us ice etc. The only complaint I have is that the elevator was slow- one of them was not operating, so we did use the stairs quite often. We would stay there again!"

"The location is great! But the staff all seemed to be preoccupied on their cell phones …all the time. One of the female staffers was extremely rude after I made several attempts to upgrade my room because I was staying 5 days. She then calls on a male manager, he said he would check on my situation, he then begins to take a personal call with his ear bug in his ear talking in a foreign language right in front of me. The two of them did not realize I was a business owner trying to conduct...

"The hotel itself is adequate. It has large sized rooms with very comfortable beds, a lovely back terrace where you can sit and enjoy the outside, light snacks (for sale) and AC for those hot NY days. My only watch out for traveller's is it's not a highly walkable neighborhood. Stores close for the Sabbath on weekends and there are only two restaurants and one corner store within walking distance of the hotel."

"Overall this stay was fine. Nice bed and clean. Expect a small room. Very close to Union station stop. The noise really got to me by the last day. The front desk running the vacuum at 7:30 am after a night of people coming home at 11, 2 am, 4am and starting to leave for their day at 6 am. The doors are a heavy slam. I was in a room on the same floor as the front desk and I could hear everything they say at that desk. It was a no sleep weekend until I found my earplugs."

"Small rooms. Not renovated or as clean as I would have expected the Holiday Inn to be. The valet parking was not a pleasant experience. Breakfast was good, limited options. Pool was very cloudy but the hot tub was ok. Limited nearby restaurants or places to visit. Ice machines were broken in multiple floors. Went to 3 different floors to find one. Overall 2/5 starts."
