"I understand this isn’t a five‑star hotel, but there are basic issues that could be fixed with minimal cost. For example: reattaching the baseboard, spraying for ants (I’ve already killed about five - some were in the bed), fixing the broken bathroom door handle, replacing the stained toilet seat, and addressing the musty, smoky odor. You can also hear every step from the guest above you — at least in our room. When I first contacted the manager at Best Western Louisville, he offered a refund....

"The room was clean, but the walls between rooms are thin. Additionally, there is nearly a one inch gap between the door and the floor. This means that you are absolutely going to hear neighboring units. For the price, I didn't expect much, but I didn't expect to be woken up several times by random noises from all different rooms on my floor. "

"We had no other option but this place. It was clean enough. Our room had a jacuzzi but we were told it didn't work and needed to be taken out but it was going to cost too much to remove. "

"This place honestly shouldn’t even exist. From the time we arrived (after 2:30 and check in is supposed to be at 2) it was a crap show. Our rooms weren’t ready because they had to call the police to kick out people who refused to leave from 6 different rooms. That I later found out were alleged prostitutes. We went to late lunch and came back and one room wasn’t ready and the room they gave us wasn’t acceptable. We had a concert to go to so we figured that would give sufficient time to prepare...
