"This hotel is a refurbished apartment building. I didn't care for it. The bathroom was dirty and had long black hair on the floor, not mine. The room smelled strange. I brought the condition of the bathroom to the attention of the front desk clerk the next morning (as it was not convenient to do so on the evening of our arrival). "Convenient location, clean room (asked for room to be tidied up on second evening as we left for dinner as was done right away) and a charming staff at the front desk and valet station. We stayed in main complex and daughter and son-in-law stayed on the hillside in a lovely room. If you have plans to go to Sausalito make plans to stay here. Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa. For sure…and the attached restaurant, Poggio Trattoria, was outstanding,..for a meal, cocktails in the afternoon and coffee...

"They gave us the section that was still under renovation with some door items laying on the floor. They left the Roomba equipment in front of the door as you open it. After unpacking when I tried to use the sink, it was clogged up so I called the front desk and she said no one was there to help so she moved us to the room across. The carpets were so worn out and the rooms had a bad chemical smell. I really think it is from the cleaning chemicals they used on the carpet over the years. I...

"The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

"Everything was clean and staff were very nice... The only downside is they do not have ice on the premises you have a refrigerator with the freezer with trays but you have to wait for the ice to freeze. So make sure if you need ice you bring it with you!"

"The best thing about the Lodge at Tiburon is the location. It’s so convenient to the waterfront and all the restaurants and shops located there. The room was adequate but nothing special. The AC worked well, and it was nice to have a small fridge. The downsides were that the blackout blinds were worn and didn’t block out all the light. The garbage wasn’t emptied every day, bathroom amenities were not replaced after the second day, nor were the tea bags I used in the morning. Finally, I got stuck...
