"We get there after check in time. Front desk gives us a room we get there they are still cleaning it so we go back down switches room and doesn't switch key so we go again. Then the room was so dirty idk how they say they cleaned anything. The bathtub was so disgusting with black all around it. The beds were gross. The floor was filthy. Then we go to check out and the employee is sleeping in a chair!"

"Experience at Tru Hotel To Whom It May Concern, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at Tru Hotel. Upon entering my room, I found the cleanliness conditions unacceptable. The bed had a strong unpleasant odor, and it was evident that the sheets and bedding had not been properly changed before my arrival. This situation caused significant discomfort and raised serious concerns about the hotel’s hygiene and quality standards. As a frequent traveler to Indiana, I regularly stay in hotels and expect at least a basic level of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards and has significantly affected my perception of the Tru brand. Due to this experience, I do not plan to stay at a Tru Hotel again. I hope the necessary corrective actions will be taken to ensure that other guests do not encounter similar issues. I would appreciate a response and an explanation of the measures that will be implemented to address this matter."

"This is a nice property for the value. The Kickback and the pool were a disaster with screaming children and parents not paying attention so I could not relax and enjoy the amenities as they were intended. Need a larger seating area also. Doubtful I'll be back after this experience"

"Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. A very basic hotel (no frills). Basic breakfast. Lower than average room rates accurately reflect what you recieve. Hotel rooms could use some updates, but that would likely cause room rates to increase. It was adequate."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. An extra light near the entry door would be nice, other than the light on the desk and lamp between beds. Bathroom fan was broken/noisy. Breakfast was the standard fare - Waffles, cereal, omelets, sausage, hard boiled eggs, milks and juices. However, ran out of omelets at 8:30 a.m. and employees weren't checking to refill. Front desk check in upon arrival was friendly, professional and quick. An employee was waiting at the desk, even at 11 p.m."
