The staff was outstanding and very helpful. Ashraf the evening front desk man went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and was especially helpful with directions. Breakfast was excellent as well. My wife enjoyed the long stem rose in our room.

Wow, what a spectacular breakfast, like English tea time, cold cuts and cheese piled on layered plates, excellent selection of bread, omelet — absolutely make sure you have enough time in the morning to enjoy. Room is a bit old, but clean

A pure delight. The Opera Hotel is ablovely oasis near the Altstadt. It’s within easy walking distance to many of Munich’s attractions. Beautifully appointed public spaces evoke the elegance of another era with marble, crystal, leather and quiet care. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive to needs. Request a corner room with a glassed-walled garden room for a special indulgence. Breakfast service was good. The only want on our stay was an in-room kettle for an early morning cuppa.

Excellent hotel location close to dining, shopping, transportation. Completely walkable to Altstadt Munich. Quiet street. Parking assistance from the hotel meant overnight and daytime parking was very reasonable. The friendly staff was extremely professional and helpful. Breakfast was very good. On the negative side our beds were in need of new mattresses, although we were moved to a different room that was slightly more comfortable for sleeping. Bathroom/toilet space in both rooms were small by modern standards, but functional. I think the hotel would be very good for solo travelers. The location is outstanding and as I mentioned earlier, the entire hotel staff was top notch.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband on holiday. A lovely hotel in an excellent location. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is served at your table on china in beautifully decorated rooms on the main floor. Nice selection of breads, meats and cheeses - with options to order eggs, fruit, yogurt. The room was spacious - the furniture and carpetting were a little worn but clean and comfortable. A fresh rose was delivered to the room each day---nice touch!

This was an excellent place to stay.It was tucked away in an area that was close to shopping yet not in a busy area.Very close to some very nice local restaurants and nice quite streets to walk

A nice hotel, our room (35) was very nice, though the bathroom and loo (separate) were very small. Breakfast was very nice. We would stay again.

This is a beautiful quaint hotel built in 1898 but all redone. Rooms are spacious and elegant. The breakfast is sumptuous. The ambience is great. The staff very friendly.

Ambiente einzigartig, tolles Frühstück, große Zimmer, wie immer schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten, das ist das allergrößte Minus und die Bäder könnten auch mal neu gemacht werden

Great location with very attentive staff. The hotel is a little dated- while still having charm. We somehow ended up in a very small room. Nicely appointed - but very small. We would go back but may be more selective on the room.

Great Munich spot.
Chose this neighborhood so we would not be too near Oktoberfest. Literally a few yards from U Bahn so easy to get to the festival. Professional staff. All with good English if needed. Nice continental breakfast. Like many of our stats in this trip, bathroom a little tight. Also had bonus room overlooking garden to give us sense of a bigger room. Located right by cute square with several shops and restaurants.

Staff could not have been more helpful and parked the car for me after I arrived tired from an early flight. Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable. It is an easy walk to the Nationaltheater.

Leider konnten wir die überdurchschnittlich gute Bewertung des Hotels vor Ort leider nicht nachempfinden. Das Hotel ist zwar auf den ersten Blick nett anzusehen, aber bei genauerem Hinsehen ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Da es im Zimmer keine Klimaanlage gibt, sondern lediglich einen maroden Ventilator, welcher zum Schlafen zu laut ist, mussten wir das Fenster Richtung Straße öffnen. Leider keine gute Idee, denn es ist sehr laut und früh morgens erfolgen bereits die ersten Anlieferungen. Die Bettdecken und Kissen waren ekelhaft verschmutzt und unter den Bettbezügen so nicht sichtbar. Als es uns jedoch aufgefallen war, baten wir sowohl die Putzdame als auch die Rezeption uns neue Decken und Kissen zu bringen, was jedoch nicht geschah ... erst bei der zweiten Reklamation. Das Frühstück ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung, jedoch nicht sehr nachhaltig, denn es wird direkt an den Tisch gebracht, sodass immer etwas dabei ist, was man nicht mag und somit weggeschmissen werden muss. Das ist nicht zeitgemäß. Die Lage ist prima und auch das Parken hat bei uns sehr gut geklappt. Wir hatten einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz für 25 €/Tag. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Kurzum, ein nettes Hotel mit einigen Defiziten, welches wir nicht nochmal buchen würden.

Hallo Sandra, vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback. Wir sind immer dankbar dafür dafür, wenn uns unsere Gäste auf Dinge hinweisen, die wir noch verbessern können. Für die Unannehmlichkeiten, während Ihres letzten Aufenthaltes, möchten wir uns erstmal entschuldigen. Das Opéra ist ein besonderes Hotel...anders als andere und sicherlich kein Standard Produkt. Klimaanlagen sind auf Grund der historischen Gemäuer schwierig umzusetzen. Dafür setzen wir nur hochwertige Ventilatoren ein. Das mit dem Lärm können wir ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz verstehen, da das Lehel eine absolut ruhige Wohngegend ist und die St.-Anna-Straße keine Durchgangsstraße ist. Das mit den Betten haben wir umgehend mit unserer Hausdame besprochen und behoben. Schade ist auch, dass Ihnen unser Frühstück nicht gefallen hat, welches unsere Gäste normalerweise immer sehr schätzen, da es eben noch am Tisch serviert wird und die Gäste nicht ständig zum Buffet rennen müssen. Das in Kombination mit silbernen Kaffeekannen und hochwertigem Tafelsilber macht es zu einem besonderen Erlebnis für unsere Gäste. Sehr geehrte Sandra, schade, dass es Ihnen bei uns nicht gefallen hat.Wir sind wirklich immer bemüht, dass unsere Gäste das Haus glücklich und zufrieden wieder verlassen und dann auch gerne wiederkommen. Sehr geehrte Edita, vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback.Wir sind ein Boutique Hotel in einem denkmalgeschützen Gebäude, in dem leider keine Klimaanlage möglich ist. Ansonsten schätzen unsere Gäste das Ambiente, die antiken Möbel, die Kunst im Haus und den mediterranen Innenhof. Schade, dass wir Ihren Geschmack nicht getroffen haben. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

C'est un véritable hôtel de charme dans un quartier très agréable, à deux pas du centre historique. Le personnel de l'hôtel est aux petits soins avec les clients et la décoration des chambres est somptueuse. L'hôtel est à proximité de nombreux services (cafés, boulangerie, restaurants, etc.)

This elegant mini-palace is run at the highest level - the elegant but substantive decor (vs. modern and boring flash), the superior staff, the rooms even though ours 33 was probably the smallest. We concluded our breakfast was a rapid transfer to a royal garden.
