"Manoir Hovey is a wonderful, relaxing getaway. The food is excellent and the spa is beautiful. Our room in the main house was small but extremely comfortable and well appointed. The large furnished deck off the room had exquisite views of the lake and perfectly manicured gardens. There are two restaurant options and both are fabulous. The breakfast is abundant and while they say the buffet is a continental breakfast it has a lot to choose! The spa was my favorite part of the resort. It is so peaceful and the setting is beautiful. I had three treatments during my stay and each one was excellent. Meghan is a gifted therapist with amazing technique and a lovely disposition. All of the staff was helpful and pleasant. Whether you are seeking a quite, elegant getaway or an active outdoor escape, Manoir Hovey is the place to go!"

"My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of a one-night stay at La Maison de Ville (August 2, 2025). The accommodation in a century home was outstanding. Our room was one of four on the second floor. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. There was a shared lounge area with television, Nespresso machine, toaster oven, fridge and balcony. Breakfast was fantastic. We started with a baked pear topped with apples, greens, sunflower and poppy seeds, and cream over caramel. That was followed by grilled eggplant, zucchini, another type of squash, poached egg, sunflower seeds and greens over toast. Coffee and the orange/pineapple juice were great. Presentation of the breakfast was first class. I appreciate the fact that Simon sources locally grown produce and goods. The location was perfect. It was one block from the lively restaurants and shops on rue Principale. Pointe-Merry Park and the lake were minutes away. Parking was free. Simon, the owner, was an outstanding host. Upon checking in, he asked if we had any dietary allergies. He offered suggestions about what we could see and do during our stay. During breakfast he explained the dishes that were served, and also took time to detail the extensive renovations and history of his 20 year ownership of this fabulous bed and breakfast. It was obvious that Simon is a trained chef. Our only regret was that we only stayed just one night. We will definitely return. Thank you, Simon. "

"La chambre était en bon ordre. Le service était bon. La terrasse sur le toit était un plus mais avait besoin d'un peu d'amour. Des réparations seraient nécessaires et les chaises dataient elles aussi. Nous avons souper au restaurant asiatique et c'était un pur délice. Par contre, le déjeuner le lendemain, ce fut tout le contraire. Le grille-pain d'un autre âge était très lent. Les fruits trop mûrs. Les croissants n'étaient pas frais. Les yogourts laissés sur un comptoir n'étaient pas froids, donc pas mangeables. Les confitures étaient ordinaires. "
