Not everyone can handle hostel life, but this one is in a great location, walking distance to the train station, cathedrals, shops, etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and organized.

Brilliant value for money

Extremely good value - clean, well-maintained, conveniently close to old town and station. More like a hotel than a hostel: there was even a lift! Only thing 'missing' was a TV/radio in the room. Good cafe for breakfast 2 minutes away.

Great hostel!

Really great hostel where all beds have a fair bit of privacy (box bed). Some even complete privacy, if you ask for a bed facing a window or wall. Otherwise you'll have 1/2 wall uncovered (but that's kind of ok). Everything is super clean and the staff is great. Not a single complaint.

Everything fantastic except shower area clogging

The room was really nice and tidy. The towels, pillows, bed linen were really nice and comfortable. The toilets are separate (i.e. the bathing place is independent of the toilet). The only drawback that I had was the bathing place got clogged frequently. I only stayed for 1 night and I got up the next day and got ready and moved out and so, this was quite okay. If you plan to stay for longer, its better to re-check this aspect. Also, out of 10 buker beds, only 3 or 4 were occupied along with me and so, it didn't feel too much crowded.

cool hostel in a great location, walking distance to everything including the train station, the old town centre and the lake. only downside: people yelling outside the building during the evening, and extremely loud (and long) church bells in the early morning.
