"Location good for my needs with free parking.
I did not have a car so car app prices reasonable around city. Helpful that Red Trolley had a pickup at Renaissance Hotel across the street.
Staff not trained well--I was not told about all amenities until I overheard Friday night manager greeting and informing other guests.
Free exercise classes with Racquet Ball on site was a plus for me.
I missed bar and evening meal available. Did use refrig in room to compensate some.

"Very comfortable and clean, the breakfast had limited options but still good considering it was included. The parking lot was very tight, but staff was accommodating and there are 2 overflow lots when the main lot gets full. Its something you can make do with considering it is the only hotel downtown with on-site patking!"

"This hotel is very nice for the price. It is a lovely facility with a great outdoor area to sit around and enjoy a drink. The restaurant on site has a pretty decent breakfast, which is inexpensive if you reserve your meal ahead of time.
This is the second time in 3 years I have stayed here and the pool/hot tub wasn’t open. Being as that was one of the primary reasons we selected this hotel, it was a little frustrating.

"The rooms and common areas were very clean and comfortable. The choices for breakfast were great. The hot tub wasn't working and the pool could use a bit of maintenance, but was still beautiful and very usable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay."

"We had a good stay at Candlewood Suites overall. The property was clean, visually appealing, and the rooms are more like small studio apartments, which would be especially great for someone staying for an extended period of time.
