"Is was just “OK”…. A place to lay our head before our flight back to USA. Room Service food not delicious but just “ok” too…. Looked like people sat on our bed before we got there…. was not made up nicely and “crisp” looking. Had a tall tub/shower combination which was very hard to get into and out…"

"The staff were so helpful and friendly. Even in my sleep deprived state, the woman who checked me in was patient and kind. The only thing that was a little "disappointing" (but not exactly) was the coffee amenities. They weren't the best, but we're certainly acceptable. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet. I had a nice stay."

"The hotel is close to the airport (a pleasant 10 min walk), clean, efficient and has very good service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised with complimentary coupons that ended up covering my dinner and breakfast! Talk of pleasant surprises! "The Dakota Hotel was conveniently located for a 1 night stay in Edinburgh before we headed out to St. Andrews for a golf trip. The rate was very reasonable and the food & service was good .I will not hesitate to return to this hotel on my next visit to Edinburgh"
