"Beautiful hotel is excellent location close to both the beach and old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool area was very clean nice area for evening relaxation. Breakfast was slightly disappointing but plenty of local restaurants available.. (Brunchit 5 mins away was the best I have ever had!)"

"I have stayed with friends and family a few times. This was the first break with my wife and I. We stayed in a seaview room/half board Was brilliant.Great views great use of lounge with drinks and food throughout the day. I used the gym and was impressed with the flexibility of half board. El limone restaurant was great. Great breakfast as always. Pool guys very helpful and Isabella at breakfast very helpful. Great paella in beach restaurant - friendly older waiter good fun Flexible when leaving...

"The front desk staff is available only from 9a - 6p and the person we dealt with didn't speak Spanish or English very well. They tried to get us to use our phone translator. They ended up calling someone else to help us on the phone. There was only one power outlet in the room, which is poor for this day and age of cell phones, laptops and pads. Our cover blanket was not clean. We found small red dots on it that appeared to be blood. Location was good. No water or coffee was offered or made...

"I loved this place. Clean, good space and close to everything. They do not have a recepción however there WhatsApp is available 24 hours and they answer very quick at any time. I would stay here again."

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft bei der vor allem der Service stark positiv hervorgehoben werden muss. Pool war ausreichend und die Aussicht der Hit. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen das macht das gesamte Resort aber wieder weg. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und vor allem die herzliche Art der Mitarbeiter war sehr angenehm. Wir würden als Familie wieder kommen und haben den Urlaub sehr genossen."

"Heating insufficient and hotel did not answer my questions about that. Shower moldy and broken, we did not dare use it. Toilet unusable for a normal size person, the sink blocks you from sitting down (my wife was able to squeeze in diagonally). In general the room was in a state of disrepair and absolutely nothing like the pictures of the room we had booked. STAY AWAY"

"Rooms are modern and very clean. My room had a balcony with a table and two chairs, great for our morning coffee. No coffee in the room but cafe next to the lobby made great coffee. Location was excellent, we walked down to the corniche every day, 5 to 10 minutes. Best feature was the attached garage; beats having to drive to the nearest public garage. Staff were extremely friendly and helped us get tickets for a concert at the Hard Rock Hotel."

"I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. The nights were cold and only a single sheet covered the bed and, after moving my room to the one in the photo (instead of on the roof) I found...

"Un engaño. 1. Las fotos no reflejan la realidad. Los muebles son viejos, el baño no tiene ventilación, la cocina ridícula... 2. Muy MUY ruidoso. Está ubicado en una avenida principal que no paran de pasar coches y gente. Lugar ventajas no están acondicionadas ni son de climalite por lo que se le muchísimo el ruido. 3. La cortina en la ventana que da al patio interior se ha caído y no hacen nada por arreglarla. Entra mucha luz y no se puede dormir. 4. Pone que hay 2 cajas de matrimonio pero...
