"Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). Parking nearby was a challenge, but you can park closer to the port & walk 10-ish minutes. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS to this property if you have a car. "The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor.
