"Facility was nice. DRIFTRS, the management company, is really bad. We were there for 4 days. Upon arrival we noticed no toilet paper and half the light bulbs burned out. The place was so dark I needed a flashlight to use the kitchen. We reported these issues immediately. "We stayed for two nights with our family in this hotel, which seems fairly new. We expected to be a decent (not luxury but not budget) place. Unfortunately, there were still major problems. The main issue that we would not expect from this caliber of hotel was that one of the mattresses had about a 4 inch deep by 12" long by 4" wide hole in it. The mattress pad was a complete bag so we didn't take the mattress pad off to see the hole, but it made that half of the bed unusable. The next morning, we called three times (over the course of 12 hours), and each time the front desk staff said they were going to take care of it, but never did until the 3rd call (close to bedtime), when they finally gave us a new room. Never once did the staff offer to reimburse us or extend any perks to us for the inconvenience of having an unusable mattress and having to swap rooms. It was also a major ordeal to get towels by calling the front desk. It took quite a long time and multiple phone calls. When we tried to go get them ourselves, they offered just one towel at a time. My daughter was sick in the middle of the night; my wife went to get ice from the ice machine, but it was out of order. Also, every time we came and left from the parking garage, the system never worked correctly. It required me to push the intercom button in order for us get in and out. And the pillows were about half the size of typical pillows and not overly comfortable. The overall shoddiness of the construction was"

"The view from our room was stunning. This is the cleanest hotel I have been to in Houston area. I am so impressed by the efforts put in to keep this facility so clean. The downside was having to go from 28th floor to the lobby to use the microwave oven. One on each floor could make a whole lot of difference. Above all, we had an excellent time in this hotel."

"The hotel was clean, but it was not explained that this was more of an actual living quarters than a hotel. There was no main service there was no one to bring you fresh towels or washcloths or even to take out your trash or come in to make your bed even at your request. I even threw my sheets outside my door on the third out of four nights and they took them but never brought clean ones back. I even went downstairs and requested new bedsheets I was told they would be up right away, and I stayed another night without sheets on my bed sleeping on top of the comforter."

"Wonderful hotel in a great location. It was awesome to be able to walk to the Menil Collection. One of our favorite areas of Houston. The only thing that was odd, and a safety hazard was the shower. No door or curtain allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor making it very slippery. We had to put towels down all over the floor."
