"Great hotel!"

"We loved the pool, it was the best part of our stay! There is no restaurant on site, but there is a bar. There were long waits to get help from the front desk (or to be checked in) because there was just one front desk person that manages everything. It's a nice hotel very conveniently located!"

"The waterpark was great as we were on an unexpected road trip and our 7 year old had a lot of energy to get out. The room was clean, but the TV had been left on because there was no remote and it took 3 different remotes and eventually finding buttons on the tv to turn it off. Also, the second curtain that covers the rest of the window was missing so we woke up earlier than planned with the sun shining through. Neither of those issues would stop us from staying here again."

"The AC unit was noisy when turning on and off. The bathroom light came on automatically as I got up to pee. It turned off when I was showering. No grab bars in the tub area. The tub was slick and hair in the drain. The bed was uncomfortable.. You get what you pay for. In this case, a lower cost motel."

"Very helpful communication with Natasha regarding our arrival time and progress during our road trip, and very welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!"

"Hotel was very clean - was just after Argentina left so the hotel was still had their decor all over, but that was pretty cool. Room was great - except the AC wasn't consistent throughout the entire room, likely because of the rooms shape. Staff were very helpful, especially as it concerned parking. The day I left was the last day of free parking, though their back lot was not available during that time because of the break-down of the facility from Argentina's stay, so perhaps their back lot...

"We thoroughly enjoyed this place. This charming rental is comprised of Greek orthodox antebellum architecture, and even had a personal elevator to our room. The breakfasts were elegant and wonderful. We also really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Great choice!"

"Ophelia's was a fantastic place! A comfortable and unique B & B that we found was mere blocks from the place & purpose of our visit to Independence. The room was very nicely decorated and had the usual TV, free internet & coffee as well as refrigerated beverages ($$) and fine liquors ($$). One big plus is that you can also purchase the Turkish cotton bathrobes that are provided to the guests (my wife liked them). There is elevator service to the rooms, which set directly above the restaurant....
