"My single room was immaculately clean, very basic , but suited my needs as a frequent visitor to Aberdour. The breakfast was adequate but my evening meal was home cooked and delightful. It is in a perfect location, just a walk away from the beautiful beach, boutique shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would say this hotel is perfect for a weekend stay. "

This hotel was advertised as only a few miles away from Edinburgh city centre and had good reviews on Expedia. All false. The address matching this hotel doesn't exist on our phones' maps/GPS. "Spotlessly clean accommodation with a warm and efficient welcome. Shared facilities which again were perfectly clean. Secure entry system and plenty of off-street parking. Only slight issue was thin walls so could hear the next room on mobile phone but it didn't go on late and I had a good night's sleep."

"Had a room in the attic. The only window on the room had no blinds. The shower was great, lights as well. But wifi was super slow and so slow, I am not used to that anymore. Bed was soft but okay. Overall a decent stay and all the things you need. But for me the atmosphere was... not super welcoming. I would suggest new locks on the door, especially as a female solo traveller that would be appreciated. "
