"Wonderful family owner renovated 1920’s palace which has secure parking in an excellent location on the edge of the beautiful old city. The owner and staff give their very best to make your stay the best it can be. Highly recommend the first floor front rooms which have a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink on in the morning sunshine. The Garbo also has a spa in the room! Breakfast was always a warm, friendly, fun filled occasion"

"Alberto is a fantastic host who goes out of his way to help. His place is tucked into the top floor and has a side deck that is beautiful. One has to ascend to the bed area by a ships ladder but its very comfy. Also the shower is fabulous. A real treat to stay here. "

The only thing which we'd change if we stayed again would be to ask for a room on an exterior wall of the building. Our room was an interior one with the main door onto the corridor, and another door onto a common outdoor area. "Staff is good and location is great. The need for improvement should be in amenities and infrastructure, ie breakfast, towels, soap, tissues and ventilation. Overall it is more a boutique hotel and shouldn’t be advertise as a five star establishment."

"The host changed check in times and doesnt communicate well. You have to reach out to them for check in instructions and beg for the details. Further, the AC in the room doesnt work, just blows hot air and the host doesnt care when notified. The place itself is OK but there are homeless people right outside front door. "
