"It all started with the ballet people. They are what you see first so I feel like they set the tone for when we walked in the door. They were super welcoming and had great manners. The front desk staff was funny and fast. Super personable. The room was clean our only complaint was the firmness of the beds but otherwise it was a great stay. I love all the yummy food options inside the hotel so you don’t even have to drive anywhere. Great location on the beach so we could walk every morning. We had a great stay"

"I was very disappointed with my experiences staying at Holiday Inn, especially considering my last two stays have both been extremely poor. During my first stay, I had to wait several hours because the staff informed me the power would be restored shortly. Unfortunately, the power never came back on, and I ultimately had to leave and book another hotel. My most recent stay was just as frustrating. The elevator stopped working, forcing me to walk up and down 14 flights of stairs multiple times just to access my room. What made the situation even more concerning was that staff had to unlock multiple doors just for guests to access the emergency stairwell, which I consider to be a serious safety hazard in the event of a real emergency. Once inside the room, I found mold around the sink, enhancement lubricant behind the trash can, visible cracks in the ceiling, and a leaking roof. In addition, the balcony was completely closed off, making it inaccessible. Before booking, I specifically called to confirm whether the hotel had a hot tub and was told that it did. However, upon arrival, I discovered there was no hot tub at all. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and dismissive when I expressed my concerns. I was essentially told that if I wanted to check out, there was nothing they could do to improve the situation for me or my wife. The level of customer service and overall condition of the property did not reflect the standards I would expect from the Holiday Inn brand."

"They staff was very helpful and friendly. I was staying 3 nights. The on site washer and dryer was perfect along with the option at the lobby store. I will definitely recommend and stay again if ever in the area. The beds were great with the best pillows. "

"What we loved: Rooms were relatively clean, spacious balconies, comfortable beds, friendly staff. We had coffee and drinks at the balcony and the beach/downtown views were amazing. We absolutely loved the fact that the beach was literally at the hotel's backyard. There were chair, canopy,and jet ski rentals along the beach. Place is family-friendly, highly recommended. They had quick, functional elevators. Parking was not a problem, although there's like an $11 daily parking fee. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, and there are other external options downtown and along 358 (S Padre Island Dr). What can be improved: Carpet shampoo probably needed, spray some air sanitizer before next guest arrives, offer a safe for valuables, and place bathroom caddies if we prefer to use our own toiletries. We plan to return to the property soon since we had an awesome experience overall."

"It’s not at all with the picture show. But from the time we pulled up in the parking lot, the maintenance man was so helpful. He led me to the front where I could have the lady walk me through the room to see if it looked different from the outside and it did. The maintenan man then proceeded to help us get our stuff out of the vehicle help my grandmother up the stairs just made this day so much easier! There need to be more people like him in the world.! the staff was all friendly. Anything we needed they were there to help.! great place to sit on the balcony and watch their wave roll in!"
