"It is a lovely hotel. So much history. I love staying in unique places like this. There are two downsides.
The first is that it’s really easy to get lost. Being an old Municipal building and everything looking similar, it’s easy to get turned around.
The second was the gym and access to it. I found the gym really sad for the type of hotel this is. Also, accessing the gym was very difficult. "
"Great find everything about the hotel is excellent especially the food. Only slight gripe had to pay for breakfast, could be built into room cost. I had a room at the rear of the hotel which was quiet and not overlooked, I imagine a front facing room could be noisy because of the A59"
"Clean, quiet room, tea and coffee in the room, TV working. Online Check-in option was very handy. 24hr desk is also handy as we arrived after midnight and had no issues getting our key.

"Another lovely stay at St Andrew's hotel. Staff are very friendly, instructions for log in clear and easy to follow. Breakfast is great with lots of choice. We visit friends in the area from time to time and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Room is always spotless and comfortable."
"My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal.
