"It was a wonderful stay from start to finish. Diane and Scott are welcoming and answered questions of what to see, do, and where to eat. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and the breakfasts are fantastic, delicious and creative! The location is convenient and very easy to get in, out, and around. There will definitely be a repeat visit!"

"Located on a quiet street but convenient to all major streets and highways. Hotel is fairly new so it’s clean and beds are fairly quiet. Every way to cut construction costs is evident but overall it’s a typical Fairfield property. Housekeeping staff is average. One tiny little bar of soap was never replaced until day 4 of our stay, counters not cleaned, trash not emptied. Front desk staff friendly enough."

"Lovely historic property in excellent location. BUT, if you have mobility issues, beware. Rooms are accessible by stairs only. The hotel does not have an elevator. Room 200 has a vintage clawfoot tub with shower. There are no safety grab bars which would be helpful when stepping up and over the high sides of the tub. Owners would be wise to add this feature to make it safer."
