"It took a very long time for the shower to get hot. There are no hooks near the shower door to hang a robe or a towel. the vanity is a bit small to lay your towel on. You have to reach in to the back wall to turn the shower on and get wet while you try to turn the handle to the proper temp. No shower body wash only soap bars. "This is a gorgeous hotel converted from the famous Riggs National Bank of Washington DC. It is elegant, comfortable and accomodating. The food at Cafe Rigg (we had breakfast) was superb. The hotel is close to Metro (Gallery Place), museums and theatres as well aas several really nice restaurants. We will stay here whenever we come to downtown DC."

Not only is it luxurious and friendly, but you'll find at least 5 taxis by it at any time (a definite plus when certain Metro lines are being repaired).
