"It is an unusual location for a hotel, and we were really nervous walking through a cafe to check in... but the experience was wonderful - well done up rooms, great shower, ease of access to restaurants and a huge grocery store next door. We were having dinner at Chez Panisse and wanted somewhere close by. We lucked out with great parking not too far away - oh and that cafe I mentioned... we got a free drink the next morning as a perk! It was a perfect stay :)"
