The only thing I thought was a little odd was you had to use a key to lock the door from the inside, which doesn’t seem too safe if there were a fire. The staff was extremely friendly at check-in and checkout, I would stay here again."

"It is a nice big place with room for five and two bathrooms. It has a kitchenette with an electric range so you can cook if you want. The big downside of this property is the lack of on site personnel to assist in the event of a problem. There are three air conditioners and all were malfunctioning with the same error. "Our stay at Casa Botticelli exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in we were welcomed with a wonderful bottle of Chianti in our beautifully appointed room. The host helped recommend museums and local trattorias for us to visit during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful breakfast in the mornings as well as the evening sweet wine and biscotti. We can’t wait to go back to Casa Botticelli!"

"We loved our three-night stay at the Golden Tower Hotel which is located only few doors from the Palazzo Strozzi (which has a Mark Rothko exhibition until August) and in the middle of a high-end shopping district. The front desk was friendly and super accommodating with helping us with our travel to a nearby village and providing recommendations for Florence. Our room was very clean, with comfortable beds, and most importantly, quiet. The breakfast, which was included, was fabulous!"
