"We loved our stay at the George Manor. Our room was very clean and spacious, the property is very well kept and Chef Michael and his wife Rosie are very kind and accommodating. He graciously gave us a tour of the property while sharing its history. The location was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast as well. We highly recommend it!"

"My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. "The room smelled unpleasant, and the refrigerator was leaking. The leak was reported but no room change was provided, instead a towel was placed underneath the refrigerator to absorb the water from the leaking refrigerator. Unfortunately, we put our left over lunch in there and water from the freezer section leaked into the food. As for the floors, after talking with housekeeping, the housekeeper was kind enough to mop the floor and spray the room. This was not a good experience."

"Our room was not clean and we found bed bugs on the bed. They only have one elevator in the whole building and we also got stuck in the elevator for 30 mins before maintenance could get us out. The photos online look nothing like IRL."

I had 2 rooms booked for the night before a cruise. If you’ve seen the documentary “poop cruise”, this is the motel that inspired the ship to give up on life and let all the guests stew in filth. "I got 2 rooms and neither of them had and hot water what so ever. The a/c in 1 room didn't work at all. The refrigerator in the other room didn't work at all. I'm a bigger guy and I literally could not fit threw the opening "maybe 12" given to enter the shower at all. Honestly this place is bottom of the mill trash motel."
