"This place is adorable. The pool area is so well designed and there are always chairs and towels. You also get complimentary chairs and towels at a local beach club. They offer bikes, ginger shots, morning yoga and an evening cocktail as part of the resort fee. Rooms are quiet and clean. Walter at the pool bar is the best. Remembers you, asks about your day, works hard to make sure your day is so carefree. Location is great. Central, a block from the beach but away from the loud, clubby strip. "

After speaking with the manager, we agreed on a specific daily time for housekeeping for the remainder of our 8-day stay. "The beach view was obstructive with palm trees. Do not choose oceanfront with two queen beds, the highest floor you get is number five and you do not see the ocean at all. Sink was cracked and sealed with dirty silicon, fridge extremely small, water flow in sink is very weak, only one sink, not comfortable to even wash hands, they should change the style. Saw a couple of gangs swirling around, does not feel safe. Also a lot of escort girls, some snob families. Does not feel as very inviting 5...

"I absolutely love the Croydon! I’ve stayed here before and it’s so convenient. Great restaurant onsite, feel of a boutique-style hotel, the room is standard (at least the one I stayed in) but it’s perfect and clean. Street parking available, I parked right in front of the main entrance and left my car there the entire stay. My only complaint is the gym. Not much of one, really. "The apartment of floor to ceiling windows was very nice and spacious. Unfortunately the cleaning of it was a bit subpar with dust on much of the trim work/lamps. Unfortunately a number of lights did not work (incl some in master bath). We made 3 requests for maintenance—each w a quick reply msg that it would be addressed shortly with no one ever showing up—they stated they came & fixed the balcony light—yet there wasn’t even a light out there at all! Lol. Also we had no chairs on the balcony...
