"The desk clerk was not at all knowledgeable about the area as far as restaurants were concerned. He never even let us know where the breakfast area was or that there was one. The horizontal blind in our room had broken slats on one end so anybody walking buy could see in. The bath towels were sized for a child not an adult and I am only 5'4" tall."

"Our room had a very fowl odor of something rotten when I went to the front desk to report it and to see if we could get to a different room I was advised that that was not possible and then if I didn’t like it, I could leave and go to a different hotel they did offer a refund. On Expedia it says there is a breakfast and that is a lie. They call it a grab and go which consists of a fruit bar, or small muffin or a package of oatmeal and coffee that’s it."

"We had a great stay at this hotel in Novato. The room was spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day, which worked perfectly for us and kept everything clean and tidy. The free breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff was always nearby to refill items and make sure guests had everything they needed. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. If we come back to Novato, we will definitely stay here...

"The staff were great and we so enjoyed this fun unexpected find! Free parking was included and an amazing breakfast was unexpected! We enjoyed it in the library but the open courtyard was beautiful too. Perfect in warmer weather. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. There are stairs only to the second floor so plan for that."

"The property was easy to find, it was fairly close to the highway, and within close proximity to a Walmart, should you need to make a quick purchase. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the decor was basic, but nice. Parking here is free, and the parking lot was large enough for us to easily find a stop n the day we stayed. "Do NOT stay here! It was not a clean place I felt dirty the whole time. The room smelled so gross and musty. One of the pillows had dirt on it. There were stains on the carpet as well. I didn’t have a private bathroom and had to share one and being a young single woman I was scared and the booking didn’t even specify I wouldn’t have my own bathroom. The service was so bad there was only like two people working there. Save your money and book somewhere else!!!"
