"This was a spur of the moment reservation due to other options being unavailable. And I am so glad I went with it. Ms Claudia is so cute and sweet. And accommodating. Per request she allowed me to set up decorations. And breakfast. Which she made, was right on time and delicious. The room was the perfect size for a couple to use for their stay. And overall it was a very relaxing and entertaining weekend spent. If you are not familiar with Va. a bunch of the historical places you will visit will...

"The front desk was good. Parking was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was good and stocked. Only problems….. all tv services were out. No tv in any rooms It was pouring and the window in our room leaked so bad we had to put a towel on the floor to stop the sound and to minimize the damage."

"The hotel was great. Clean, staff were very nice. Expedia however stated they had a pool and the hotel told them seven years ago to fix the ad. The view from our window was beautiful. "

"To all avoid this Hotel at all cost. Pay $10 cash for a towel deposit. Room was unclean broken everything when you turn around. Stains everywhere, you look up and the bathroom fan is falling out. Kids in the hallway blocking you to go down the stairs. Front desk clerk dressed in dirty clothes and didn't know how to check in customers. Boxes off snacks from Costco all around her. Disrespectful all around. For your safety stay away. "

"The frustration with the site was I had to get a new key every time I left my room. It was extremely frustrating and was a big hassle. The only response was sorry. It was unprofessional and there was no compensation. Especially when this went on for my entire stay of four days."

"The staff member that checked me in was outside on the phone when I arrived and as soon as I was checked in. I did not feel much warmth or as welcomed by them. The staff that checked me out was really warm and accommodating! The room was amazing. It was an overnight unplanned trip so I did not have time to use any amenities."

"The floor throughout the room including the bathroom was nasty. It took forever for my shower water to get warm enough to tolerate. I heard people talking ALL night. People were hanging out all evening drinking and leaving beer bottles outside."

"It seems as though the property was going through a renovation so there was a little mess. However, the staff was very accommodating. My room did have a funny smell, and I bought air freshener at the grocery next door to help with that. But room was clean, bed was comfortable and it was nice to have groceries n restaurants right within reach."
