"We all know it's not a 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for. The property is old, you can tell. With that being said, it was clean. The only staff I saw was the gentleman at the desk when i checked in and checked out. He was the only one i saw setting up the breakfast, which was good. The typical eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, coffee, juices, yogurt, muffins, some fruit, and waffles. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No complaints. Better price point than most...

"A quick one night stay for my husband & me with our two bassett hounds. Clean rooms. Updated bathroom. Large room with an entry space with open closet to hang clothes and a makeup vanity/coffee area w/chair. Next open room had king & queen beds; desk & chair; 2 upholstered chairs & 1 wooden rocker; tv/drawers/refrigerator area; and electric fireplace."

"Unique little place. Wasn’t sure where to stay last minute and this place had pretty good reviews compared to local hotels in Maggie Valley. I gave it a try and was actually impressed. The property manager greeted us and showed us to a cabin asked if it was ok. He waited for an answer and then told us about the local area. "We were able to bring our dog. The Pool area is under construction and the pool was drained. The Mexican restaurant in the lobby served good food. Breakfast was good but would have liked more choices such as bacon. Loved the waffles."
