"Quirky but clean. Pizza across the street was incredible!"

"Property is clean and reasonably up to date. Location is rural, out of town but close by, and therefore quiet and peaceful. It is attached to a Casino, awesome if you like that, but adequately separated if you don’t. A bar and limited restaurant are in the hotel area, with additional bar and small food court in the casino. I’ve been staying here for years due to location and quiet."

We were driving through on a PCH trip and spent one night (May 15, 2026) here because the Holliday Inn didn't have rooms available, and we must say that it was a very nice alternative that we wouldn't have found otherwise because we usually use points to book. The building is a beautifully upkept, literally Victorian style inn on the main strip of Ferndale; only 15 minutes from downtown Eureka.
