Great hotel. Room was huge with Massage chair as a nice surprise! Pillows were soft. Older hotel but very close to train station / bus station& perfect location for Awa Odori

the onsen is the best. The location is very convenient. The breakfast is also very very good. I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel again next time.

Amazing hotel right at Tokushima station. Just outside the hotel is a major bus terminal with both local and express buses to places such as Kobe and Osaka. A 5 to 10 minute walk west of the hotel takes you to the Tokushima Castle Museum and it’s excellent garden. A 10 minute walk south of the hotel takes you to the Awaodori Kaikan with awaodori shows, and ropeway access to Mt Bizan. Many shopping and dining options right next to the hotel in the Clement Plaza and also in the surrounding area...

Toyoko inn is always excellent value. I especially loved how friendly and helpful the staff were at this branch!

Very good location near the station and bus station. Walked to the ropeway and the Awa Odori centre. Comfortable room. Good air con.

You need to have a car but otherwise, this hotel was a good base to travel to and from Tokushima, take a boat trip to the Naruto whirlpools and visit local beaches. The lack of onsite restaurant and a common area to cook and eat in made for a relaxed feel which was a pleasant change from other more hectic hotels we had stayed in before this one. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed about the local area. One thing to note...

Very clean. Fresh towels every day. Although staff didn’t speak English, google translate worked well. Breakfast was fresh and very Japanese. Hot drink machine available at breakfast but water machine available 24 hours a day. Booking in easy, done by computer and it had English translation. Central for shops, trains, bars and food places.

We had a great stay here. It is very easy to find, good location in the centre of town. The staff were really lovely - extremely helpful and kind. The room was big, clean and had everything that was needed.
