Really comfy newly renovated rooms! The heated bathroom floor was a welcome surprise! Nice common area with a kitchen to cook. Would stay here again!

Das Haus und das Zimmer waren sehr schön und super sauber und die Lage bietet beste Vorraussetzungen für Polarlichter, diese konnten wir sogar vom Bett aus sehen. Der Weg zum Haus ist teilweise gesperrt und sehr holprig und nicht befestigt. Das Haus zu finden ist das größere Problem. Die Wegbeschreibung von Expedia führt bei Google Maps zu einem Guesthouse, das wohl geschlossen aber leider auch auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Wit mussten beim Betreiber nachfragen wo wir denn hin müssen und ob Google Maps das Richtige zeigt. Die Kommunikation war nicht ganz zielführend.

The guesthouse was quite a way off the main road on a very bumpy road. This made getting there more difficult, but the location was ideal for seeing the northern lights and to get to the east entrance to Dettifoss. Our room was nice, modern, and very clean. The main issue we had was that it was confusing where to go to check in. The reception is several miles from the guesthouse, but there are no directions given in the Check-in instructions. It was frustrating to have to drive back and forth for miles on the very bumpy road. It is a very nice spot, just be sure to know how to get to the reception to check in.

Beautiful property, lots of space, loved the gorgeous view. The room was warm and cozy, very quiet and comfortable, and it was easy to check in and out. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and accomodations. We had room 24. New, large room, clean and all the amenities we needed. There was a kitchen and eating area where we could warm up some dinnner. We stayed here on our way back from visiting the east side of Dettifoss falls which worked out great. We would highly recommend.

Excelente alojamiento, recomendado totalmente

Llegamos a la recepción, que es donde índica la dirección desde la reserva y allí nos recibieron los dueños y nos llevaron hasta el alojamiento en sí, que está a unos 3-4km. El sitio está en medio del campo, alejado de todo. Tiene cocina-comedor muy amplio y dispone de un frigorífico grande. Dispone de café,cereales, azúcar sal y aceite totalmente gratis. Si que vi justo el menaje de la cocina , faltaban sartenes y alguna cazuela más. La habitación es una pasada, amplía, moderna y muy limpia. Cuenta con un baño pequeño pero ducha grande. Gran tv en la habitación en la que puedes ver Netflix y prime. Desde este alojamiento salimos para ver las auroras boreales y también las pudimos desde la habitación, una pasada. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

This property is a work in progress. The accommodations are brand spanking new; each guesthouse has its own deck and view. The rooms are fresh and clean, but there is not a lot of room to spread out (family of 3). The shared kitchen facilities (there are two) again while new, are not well equipped. One has a large screen TV. There is a microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher and there are stovetops. Dishwashing liquid was being watered down by guests because it was at the very end of the bottle. Lots of dishes, glassware and pots, but no frying pan. You can of course improvise. I would have expected complimentary coffee and tea service - you can brew coffee but if you didn't bring milk/cream - yikes. Only one tea bag available - and it looked like it had been there for a while. Ditto the dry cereal in plastic containers. We had trouble finding the place as there are flags identifying that there is a hotel but we were not in the right place on the road and we upset private homeowners as we looked around for our unit #. There needs to be proper signage so travellers do not have to guess and puzzle and waste time and call phone numbers posted on unoccupied former premises, all when they are tired and just want to settle down and relax. We really felt this property has a lot of potential - it just needs to be more user friendly.

Anfahrt zur Unterkunft schwierig, man bekommt einen separaten Link zugeschickt, das hat aber anfangs über Expedia-Chat nicht funktioniert. Die Bungalows vor Ort sind an sich schön, jedoch nicht gut abgedichtet, es ist sehr kalt und feucht in den Zimmern.

The place is clean. Inside looks newly built/renovated. The glass backdoor and patio was a nice touch, amazing surrounding views. Huge kitchen facility and great number or utensils and appliances for cooking. Beware, it is a shared kitchen. We had an encounter between a group of around 15 people who took over the area and used all the tables and chairs. They were very loud as well. It was an isolated incident though so hopefully won't happen to you. The drive to the lodgings was not pleasant due to the gravel road and the separate check in location was a hassle. Self check in would have been better. The secluded location was creepy at first but it is a perfect get away from city life to have a quiet and peaceful stay.

Good stay!

Good stay for someone wanting to be near Dettifoss. Room was good and clean, but was very small. Also our Wifi didn't work and heat didn't seem to work. But a great stay close to the waterfall which is what we were looking for. Would recommend and would stay again when in the area
