"We booked the suite for a week and we were quite happy with our choice. The room was new and welcoming. The only caveat was that the listing on Expedia mentioned a tv and there was none. While not a huge deal, it is still annoying. They offered free breakfasts to make up for it, which was appreciated. However the breakfast brunch is one of the worst we've ever had... We decided to stop going, even if it was free... Nonetheless, we liked our stay and we do recommend the hotel. Just stay away from...

"Room was clean but very warm and difficult to control with just opening a small window. Staff was courteous and helpful. Parking was plentiful and close. Large breakfast buffet was really good. Location was perfect. Very nice stay. "

"I booked a triple room with Expedia and the listing says: three twin beds. Hotel Kea gave me: two twin beds and a sofa bed... If i wanted a sofa bed i could have booked anywhere else... When we told Hotel Kea our rooms were incorrect they said there was nothing that they can do. Maybe there was some sort of miscommunication between Expedia and Hotel Kea. But if you were to book a hotel, why take the risk? I recommend you book elsewhere and save yourself the trouble."

"Room was spacious and comfortable. A bit too warm in the room and there is only a tiny window that is openable. The breakfast was very good with many options. Two things that were annoying: Hallways have wooden floors so it is a bit noisy when someone walks by the room. There is a tv but only two channels with very poor reception (rabbit ears on roof??). Otherwise all good, especially for the price."

"Nice big bed and room, nice property, breakfast was great as well! The restaurant was a bit expensive but that is standard in Iceland. Only downside of the room was minimal ventilation, so you have to open the windows during a shower or the whole room gets humid"

"Kleines Zimmer, aber alles sehr sauber Toller Blick auf den See Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe Bad riecht etwas, ist aber wohl durch den Schwefelgeruch vom warmen Wasser normal in Island. Leider sehr kalt im Bad, da keine seperate Heizung vorhanden ist. Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Gemeinschaftsküche, aber mit allem ausgesattet was man braucht. Eigene Fächer im Kühlschrank."
